Lunarcana
The house on its headland, built in the shape of an eight-pointed star, with moonlight in the arched windows of its topmost wing.
The Readers' House

Eight points, eight rooms

The eight-pointed star on the back of every card is really a floor plan. The manuscript isn't a book; it's a house. Each room keeps its own way of reading, and whoever keeps the room writes their notes in the manuscript's margins. After dark the lamps come on one room at a time, starting with the conservatory in the west and ending at the Orrery Loft in the east, just as dawn arrives.

Every room's lamp burns brightest at its own hour of the night.

Choose a point to see its room

The room whose lamp is brightest right now glows a little. The top point is Lunaris's. The door at the very bottom is where you came in.

Eight doors around the rotunda

Drag, tap a door on either side, or use the arrow keys to turn the ring. Only the gallery door stands open so far. The other five are already reading for people; their rooms just aren't ready yet.
